How to Find the Tyrrells Ford Country Inn

The Tyrrells Ford Country Inn is ideally located for ease of access on the Hampshire/Dorset borders just 3½ miles from Bournemouth International Airport, on the edge of the New Forest between Ringwood and Christchurch, just 4 miles off the A31 and the same distance from the A35. We are 15 minutes drive from Bournemouth, 1½ hours from London Heathrow Airport and only 20 minutes from Southampton.

Coming from Southampton via Ringwood
From the direction of Southampton on the A31, branch left (signposted Ringwood), then at roundabout take 1st left onto B3347 for 200 metres. At roundabout take 2nd exit onto Mansfield Road - B3347 (signposted Winkton, Sopley) for 1/4 mile, approaching mini-roundabout take 1st exit onto Christchurch Road, past fire station, for a further 300 metres. At mini-roundabout take 2nd exit on B3447 (signposted Winkton, Sopley) and continue on B3447 for a further 3.66 miles until you come upon the driveway to the Tyrrells Ford Country Inn Hotel on your left just 100 metres past the "Avon" village sign.

Coming from Bournemouth
From the Bournemouth direction on A338 take exit left (signposted Christchurch), then at T-junction traffic lights turn right onto Christchurch Road - B3073 (signposted Hurn). After 800 metres at Roundabout (Hurn Bridge) take the 2nd exit onto the Avon Causeway (signposted Avon, Sopley, Matchams). Ignore the 1st turning on the left which is for Matchams and continue along the Avon Causeway for 1.6 picturesque miles, crossing the River Avon bridge and the bear left. Turn left for 1 mile onto the B3347 (signposted Ringwood, Avon) entering the hamlet of Avon, passing New Queen pub, rounding a double bend and after 400 metres you will see on your right the driveway to Tyrrells Ford Country Inn Hotel.
